175th Founders Day Celebration and Thanksgiving Service
On 6th June 1844, the world's first YMCA was started by George Williams in London, to help youth address social challenges. 175 Years later, the YMCA is spread to 119 countries and still empowering young people to become the voice of the next generation of confidence by engaging global citizens. The 175th birthday was celebrated on 21st June. Former Presidents Mr. Jose P.M., Mr. Kurian Thomas and Mr. Mathen Oommen had inaugurated the celebration.

Ifthar Kit distribution 2019
During the Holy month of Ramadan, YMCA members under the leadership of Social and action committee, had visited the labor camps in Sajjah area and distributed Ifthar kit packets to the labors.
Excellence Award function 2019
By God’s grace YMCA Sharjah had the privilege to conduct the 17th Excellence Award function on 27th May at Emirates National School. Mr. Muhasin K., Principal, Pace International School Sharjah, was the chief guest for this function. President Mr. George James presided over the meeting.
Nurses Day Celebration 2019
As part of International Nurses Day, YMCA Sharjah honored the YMCA Members those who were working as Staff Nurse in various hospitals in Sharjah and Dubai. Mrs. Rekha Biju ( In charge of Hatta hospital took class about the Subject Graceful ageing.
YMCA Sharjah Easter celebration 2019
Easter Celebration of YMCA Sharjah is held at parish hall of St. Mary’s Jacobite Surono Cathedral on Saturday 26th April at 7.30pm. Rev. Fr. Sajan C. Alex , Vicar St. Marys Knanaya Church inaugurated the meeting. Rev Varghese Mathew ( CSI Parish Sharjah), Rev. D.S. Roy ( CSI Parish Dubai), Rev. O.P.Poulose ( St. Thomas Evanjalical church, Sharjah were given felicitations.
YMCA Ecumenical Convention 2019
As part of the vision of YMCA, with the motto of ecumenism, the 17th Bible convention was held from 21st to 23rd May, 2019 at Sharjah Worship center main hall. Brother Dr. George Cherian ( Chairman, Missions India) delivered the word of God during these 3 days.
